Novel spectroscopic techniques, Inorganic and Bioinorganic Spectroscopy: Application of spectroscopy to problems in inorganic, bioinorganic, and biophysical chemistry. Spectroscopic investigation of novel metal binding environments. Investigation into the mechanisms of super- and supramolecular self assembly in both small molecules and biological macromolecules.
